My name is Deena. I live on an island off the coast of Maine with my husband and three kids. When I say I live “with” my three kids, I use the term lightly as one of my kids is away at college and another one is about to leave the nest soon. My husband is a lobster fisherman and a builder of boats, and I work as an administrative assistant. I moonlight as a writer and I do have a couple of published poems. I love to read. I love spending time with my family. And lately, I have a huge urge to travel.
